Campaign Highlights, February 19 - March 2

Smiles are wider, sap is flowing, and the sun lingers a few more minutes each day, bringing renewed warmth to our hearts. Thomasina makes the most of these longer daylight hours as she travels the length and breadth of the Great 8th to meet with voters to share her message of hope, beginning in Linton at the 8th District Democratic Party monthly meeting on February 22. February 25th brought a road trip to Evansville where Thomasina received a warm welcome from residents celebrating Mardi Gras at River Pointe Health Campus.

Thomasina sends a big thank you to Primrose, Golden Living Center, Signature Health Care, and Atria Assisted Living in Newburgh for hosting meet and greets for residents on February 26. We had a blast!

Many thanks to the Posey County Council on Aging for letting us stop by and speak to their breakfast and exercise class on February 27.

The 27th also brought a "meet & greet" at Juniper Art Gallery in Spencer, as well as the exciting news that Terre Haute based Indivisible Indiana 8th District unanimously voted to endorse Thomasina for Congress! Indivisible IN 8th also held two post card parties in support of Thomasina's campaign, sending personal messages to over 150 area voters.

Thomasina's travels spanned the district on Leap Day, beginning "up north" at the Parke County Maple Fair pancake breakfast. . . .

. . . . then heading to the southern tip of the state for the Southwestern Young Democrats gathering and kickoff in Evansville. . . .

. . . . and wrapping up in Chrisney at the Spencer County 4-H dinner. What a day it was!

Leap Years are always election years, which gives us an extra day to participate in our democracy. Take the leap this year by supporting our campaign. Click the "donate" button to help transform hope into reality for Hoosiers throughout the Great 8th. $20 today wins 2020 tomorrow!
